Life used to be so much simpler… or maybe it is simpler now with the technology and all… I should say life used to be so much secure… when credit card payments are done with a check paid in a bank nearby… rather than just clicking it away online to be deducted from your also online checking account… it sure is a great way to save your checks… but for all you know you’re not saving your butt against internet hacking…
Life used to be simpler, when the shopping mall is just 15 minutes away even with the traffic at Imelda ave… not to mention that my office is in a mall so I go there everyday… now the nearest mall is like 20 minutes away, no traffic and you’re running on a 70 miles per hour…huh! But going to the mall ain’t as fun as it was…nothing more fun as 4 girlfriends on a 20 minute roadtrip inside a topdown VW beetle with your hair messed around by the cold spring wind.. haha! It was a joy ride! (Thanks ate mercy, ate chat and hazel for such great time).
Well, I couldn’t say life is much simpler now even with the dishwasher,washer and dryer (btw, i am currently a housewife w/ dignity of course…hehe..), it could have been, but let’s just say I’m not so used to being domesticated as I have been a slave to globalization for over 4 years having to run a Wireless Center and being a strong butt amidst operational lapses… i miss those days… i miss being so stressed with my colleagues having to pacify irate DOMs and irate wannabees (you know, those people who thought they are too great to be unnoticed)… there was a point that i got tired of all their whinnings…but now, i’d certainly give them my whole 8 hours just to listen to their crap…
Mmmm… enough of my musings and back to work..haha…
